The receptionist will be responsible for greeting and assisting visitors, clients, and employees in a professional and courteous manner, maintaining visitor sign-in procedures, and answering incoming phone calls both through desk phones and switchboard as well as other administrative support tasks. 

Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain visitor sign-in procedures and issue visitor badges as required.
  • Answer incoming phone calls both through desk phones and Switchboard.
  • Provide general inquiries and accurate information to individuals and appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with data entry, and organizational tasks.
  • Schedule training and conference rooms.
  • Handle routine issues and inquiries efficiently and professionally.
  • Escalate concerns or unusual situations to the appropriate personnel when necessary.
  • Ensure reception areas are organized and presentable at all times. 
  • May perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
  • Previous office experience preferred.
  • Good telephone techniques and communication skills.
  • Strong ability to handle multiple tasks, such as incoming calls, guests and faxes.
  • Must possess ability to act competently in a crisis situation while maintaining a calm and professional manner.
  • Ability to be cooperative with other employees to ensure a smooth running, effective office operation.

Skills Required

  • High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
