The Receptionist serves as the face of our community and is responsible for creating a warm, welcoming, and professional first impression for all residents, families, and guests. This role plays a key part in shaping the overall experience of our community by ensuring every person who walks through our doors feels valued, respected, and cared for.
This is a hospitality-focused role within an independent living community. We do not provide hands-on medical or personal care to residents—our focus is on lifestyle, service, and experience.
Key Responsibilities- Greet residents, guests, and visitors with warmth, professionalism, and kindness
- Answer phones and assist with inquiries in a friendly and helpful manner
- Ensure the front desk and lobby remain clean, organized, and welcoming at all times
- Support a positive, hospitality-driven environment for residents and guests
- Assist with general administrative and operational tasks as needed
- Perform routine security walkthroughs throughout the community
- Ensure a safe, calm, and secure environment overnight
- Respond to resident requests in a timely and professional manner
- Complete light cleaning, organizing, and support tasks as assigned
- A genuine passion for kindness, service, and helping others
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, dependable, and self-motivated
- Ability to create meaningful connections with residents and guests
- Comfortable working independently (especially overnight shift)
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred
