What You’ll Do

You’ll play an important role in supporting the Diagnostic Imaging department by providing friendly, efficient service to patients while keeping scheduling and administrative functions running smoothly.

  • Welcome and assist patients in person and by phone, providing professional and courteous customer service.
  • Answer a multi-line telephone system, relay messages, and schedule or reschedule patient appointments.
  • Register patients for Diagnostic Imaging exams and provide accurate preparation instructions.
  • Process and distribute reports to the appropriate destinations and maintain patient forms and records.
  • Perform general clerical and secretarial duties, including ordering office supplies and supporting the daily operations of the department.
  • Perform a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned.

 

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a customer-focused, organized, and dependable professional with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable with technology, works well with patients and coworkers, and can quickly learn new systems and processes.

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; an associate degree in a business-related field is a plus.
  • Two years of experience in a medical office setting preferred.
  • Strong customer service, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn and navigate computer-based applications and healthcare systems.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with patients, third-party payers, employers, physicians, coworkers, and administrative staff.
  • Spanish-language skills are preferred but not required.

  • Pay Range: $17.50-$21.87/hour (based on experience)
