About The Role: As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and external stakeholders, creating a welcoming and professional experience. This entry-level role is responsible for managing front-desk operations, handling incoming calls, supporting administrative tasks, and assisting the Facilities team to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office.
Responsibilities- Welcome and greet visitors, offering a warm and friendly welcome.
- Answer and redirect incoming phone calls, ensuring efficient call management.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and record-keeping.
- Coordinate with security and facility staff to ensure a safe and well-maintained office environment.
- Manage and maintain the reception area, ensuring it is presentable and well-stocked.
- Handle mail and package deliveries, ensuring proper distribution.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients.
- Assist with event coordination and setup, as required.
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude at all times.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- A friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Basic knowledge of office administration practices.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures.
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime, as needed.
