At Morse Micro, we know that culture starts at the front door. As our Reception & Office Coordinator, you'll be the heartbeat of our Sydney office — the first face people see, the person who keeps things humming, and the one who makes this a place people actually want to be.
This is a full-time, on-site role, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm. You'll report directly to the Head of Office Operations.
What you'll be doing:
Welcoming employees, visitors and couriers and setting the tone from the first hello
Managing weekly food & beverage orders (yes, kombucha on tap is part of the job), stationery, and all the little things that keep the office running smoothly
Coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, both domestically and internationally
Keeping our three-level office looking great — dishwashers, fridges, common areas, hygiene standards, all of it
Being the go-to for staff day-to-day needs: printing, scanning, meeting room setups, equipment requests
Helping organise team events and functions
Bonus points if you bring:
A creative streak — whether that's food prep, event theming, or just a knack for making things look great
A willingness to get hands-on when furniture or equipment needs moving (not a daily thing, but it comes up!)
What we're looking for:
3+ years in office administration, reception, front of house, hospitality, or a similar role
Warm, confident interpersonal style
Strong attention to detail
Clear verbal communication skills
A proactive, self-starter attitude — comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Physically capable of occasional heavy lifting
Positive energy and a genuine people-first approach
Some experience with event coordination is a plus
