In this role, you would be responsible for overseeing the storage, inventory management, and distribution of medical devices within a warehouse facility in Saudi Arabia. Your main objectives would include ensuring the safety, security, and proper handling of medical devices while adhering to local regulations and quality standards.

Job Requirements Include:

  • Warehouse Layout and Organization: Designing and maintaining an efficient layout for the storage of medical devices, considering factors such as product size, classification, and temperature requirements.
  • Operational Excellence: Implement and drive the principles of the Danaher Business System (DBS) to achieve operational excellence in the warehouse. Continuously improve processes, eliminate waste, and optimize efficiency.
  • Warehouse Management: Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping. Ensure smooth and efficient workflows to meet customer demands and minimize lead times.
  • Inventory Management: Implementing robust inventory control systems to track stock levels, expiry dates, and batch numbers. This includes conducting regular audits and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Staying updated with local regulations, such as those from the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), and ensuring compliance with storage, labeling, and documentation requirements.
  • Quality Control: Implementing quality control measures, such as temperature monitoring, to ensure the integrity and safety of medical devices throughout their storage and distribution process.
  • Handling and Packaging: Establishing proper handling procedures to prevent damage or contamination of medical devices. This includes appropriate packaging, labeling, and transportation methods.
  • Team Management: Leading and supervising a team of warehouse personnel, ensuring they are properly trained, motivated, and following best practices.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in warehouse operations management, preferably within the medical device industry.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in applying the principles of the Danaher Business System (DBS) or other lean management methodologies.
  • Familiarity with local regulations and standards related to medical device storage and distribution in Saudi Arabia.
