Overview:
PJ Trailers has an immediate opening for an experienced Receiving department leader in Sumner, TX. The general purpose of this position is to ensure that receiving department, supply chain and production are coordinated to yield timely delivery of raw materials to the production floor.
Position Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Work with raw material carriers to schedule incoming trucks.
- Verify part counts from those incoming material shipments.
- Work with Procurement, Production and Scheduling teams to identify, and escalate any material shortages on the production floor.
- Optimize raw material storage within the production facility.
- Supervise a team of 6-10 forklift operators.
Skills Required
- Experience leading a receiving department
- Experience coordinating raw material deliveries with procurement, production, and scheduling teams
- Ability to supervise 6–10 forklift operators
