Objective
- Responsible for managing resources and schedules in order to ensure successful implementation of all appliance or subsystem related development activities
Key responsibilities
Design/Project Management
- Organize and follow-up of all product/module projects including:
- New features and esthetical design
- Drive application of innovation for that platform or category.
- Cost reduction projects
- Quality improvement projects
- Platform/category standardization projects
- Act as main point of contact and interface with national or global for internal and external customers.
- Manage relationship with global R&D resources and global core competence centers in order achieve full synergy in global platforms and features.
- Participate in concept development activities
- Ensure new variants introduction
- Ensure aesthetical/design alignment among the products
- Ensure compliance with both internal and external safety standards
- Ensure product or module approval
- Reduce complexity

- Give final approval for introduction in production of new products or module engineering changes
Process/Team management (Optional)
- Budget responsibility
- Work closely with the regional management team in order to consolidate R&D objectives and programs within the context of the overall regional / global product Generation Plans.
