- Analyze engineering documentation, technical drawings and schematics, and translate them into structured, topic‑based service content.
- Create, update and revise service procedures, troubleshooting steps, safety information and component descriptions following internal documentation standards.
- Work within the ST4 Schema environment to assemble topic‑based content into complete service manuals (no prior ST4 experience required; full training will be provided).
- Ensure that all work follows SGS quality assurance procedures and client‑specific formatting and terminology guidelines.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers and other writers to clarify technical details and ensure accuracy.
- Manage revisions, update logs and version control in accordance with project requirements.
- Complete all assigned tasks and training within required deadlines.
- Remains familiar with SGS quality assurance procedures.
- Complies to all SGS QHSE and HR policies and procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree (technical writing, Engineering, or Applied science preferred or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Technical Writer (experience with service/maintenance manuals is a strong advantage).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams and refrigeration or electromechanical schematics (mandatory).
- Experience with topic‑based or modular documentation (DITA, ST4, or similar) is an asset but not required.
- Strong commitment to quality, accuracy and operational excellence.
