As an RBAC Software Access Control Analyst in Micron’s Identity and Access Governance Team, you will partner with software developers, product owners, and application experts to analyze applications' existing security setup, available functionalities, business implications, and IP vulnerabilities to ensure our access controls align with Micron’s “zero trust” initiative.  

Using this analysis, you'll suggest security enhancements to improve feature segregation and ensure the application is ready for onboarding into Micron’s RBAC program. This is a dynamic role with large impact and an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to advance a career in Identity & Access Management (IAM) with a variety of possibilities and challenges.  

Responsibilities:  

• Analyze each application’s purpose, user base, features, access control mechanisms, and the level of risk each poses to our business or intellectual property. 

• Perform risk assessments to identify potential security vulnerabilities in application access and implement improvements. 

• Bring awareness and educate the software development community about RBAC, access control best practices, and Zero Trust concepts.  

• Stay updated on the latest security trends in the RBAC and IAM space.  

• Conduct regular audits of application access controls and usage to ensure compliance with security policies. 

Qualifications & Skills: 

• Programming experience or as a software liaison or product owner.  

• Knowledge of authorization and authentication techniques, as well as directory services.  

• Solid grasp of Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Role-based Access Control (RBAC) concepts.  

• Superb attention to detail, and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks. 

• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and skilled at bulk data manipulation.  

• Collaborative and inclusive with a positive demeanor, well-suited for working across geographical organizations.  

• Comfortable interacting and connecting with technical, non-technical and leadership teams.  

• Strong problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills.  

Education and Experience: 

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent certifications/professional experience. Related disciplines considered.  

• Minimum of 1 year of professional work experience in either the IAM or the Software Development space. (preferred)
