Essential Functions:
Collects, reviews, and enters rating information into the system to provide quotes to underwriters for new business, endorsements and renewals
Contacts the agent and follows up for missing information
Reviews the automated renewal quote document and makes necessary updates
Reviews and processes endorsements that fall within a specified list of requirements
Prepares and approves renewals within authority limit
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalency
One year of office support experience desired
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Keyboarding speed of 40 wpm
Accurate data entry skills
Good personal computer skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word
Strong customer service skills and telephone etiquette
Knowledge of insurance terminology desired
The hiring salary range for this position will vary based on geographic location, falling within either the $18.00-$25.00 range or the $20.00-$28.00 range. A hiring range represents a subset of the full salary range. The actual salary will depend on several factors, including relevant education, skills, and experience of an applicant, geographic location, and business needs.
