DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

  POSITION SUMMARY

Performs radiographic imaging procedures to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease and injuries by performing the following duties.

 POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Associate’s degree or equivalent to an approved Radiologic Technology program.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATION: 

Certificate issued by the State of California as a Radiological Technologist.

Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, ARRT.

Skills Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including grammar and spelling
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient and facility records (HIPAA awareness)
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to organize, prioritize work, and cope with interruptions
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member
  • Familiarity with office computer software (spreadsheets and word processing)
  • Experience operating telephone systems and handling high call volume
  • Ability to accept ownership for tasks and add value to job responsibilities
