The Radiology team at Baptist Health works together to provide the highest level of care for every patient. Each team member is highly trained in the use of our advanced imaging technologies and in meeting the individual needs of our patients. Our staff includes fellowship-trained radiologists, radiologic technologists, ultrasonographers and nuclear medicine technologists. From helping you prepare for your tests to listening carefully to your questions and clearly explaining everything you need to know, you’ll appreciate our careful attention and support.

Job Description:
  • Provides health care services applying pulsed x-ray energy to assist diagnosis or treatment.
  • Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by or at the request of a licensed independent practitioner.
  • Exercises professional judgment in performance of service and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics.
  • Recognizes various patient conditions in order to provide appropriate patient care to ensure successful completion of the exam or procedure.
Requirements:
  • Satisfactory completion of an accredited education program in radiologic technology.
  • Current American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT) Registry within 90 days of hire
  • Current license with the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy
  • Current BLS Certification
