About the Role

We are currently seeking a Radiographer to join us on a full-time basis at our Capital Radiology Elsternwick clinic. Ideal candidates will have X-Ray & CT modality skills, but we are also open to a junior Radiographer joining the team who is looking for upskilling. 

Our clinics are filled with high performing teams and supported with up-to-date equipment within a modern clinical setting and the Radiographer will be responsible for the high-quality imaging our community trusts us to deliver.

You Will Have

  • A values driven attitude and work ethic
  • Excellent customer service and patient focus
  • The ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with patients, referrers and teammates
  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Medical Imaging
  • Experience in Technology/Diagnostic Medical Radiography
  • Cannulation Accreditation
  • CT skills on Siemens or GE will be highly regarded, but full training can also be provided
  • Skills such as Mammography, MRI, Cardiac CT on Siemens will be highly regarded
  • Current State Radiation License and AHPRA Registration will also be highly regarded

Responsibilities include

  • Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging examinations in line with Lake Imaging’s protocols.
  • Quickly adapt to workflow and use RIS/PACS systems efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards.
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists to assist in imaging procedures, including the use of sterile techniques.
  • Work in theatre settings to provide essential imaging services during surgeries.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide top-tier patient care and foster effective teamwork.
  • Good interpersonal skills and communication to provide patients with high quality care and to be able to work well with staff.
