- Analyze business and functional requirements to create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases for web, mobile, and desktop applications.
- Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, System, Smoke, Sanity, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using bug-tracking tools.
- Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing before releases.
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
- Participate in requirement reviews, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Prepare test execution reports and communicate testing progress to stakeholders.
- Ensure software meets quality standards and business expectations before deployment.
- Suggest improvements to testing processes and quality assurance practices.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and review their test cases when required.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Manual Testing.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.
- Experience in Functional, Regression, Integration, System, Smoke, and Sanity Testing.
- Experience creating detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
- Proficiency with defect management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Bugzilla.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with SQL for database validation.
- Experience testing REST APIs using tools like Postman is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of browser developer tools for debugging.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- ISTQB or equivalent software testing certification is a plus.
- Exposure to automation testing concepts or tools such as Selenium is an added advantage.
- Experience working in CI/CD environments is desirable.
