General Summary
Performs routine diagnostic, technical and/or special radiographic procedures at a general skill level.
ResponsibilitiesDuties and Responsibilities
- Performs radiographic examinations, obtains patient history, explains routine procedures, and addresses patient concerns.
- Schedules cases to coordinate with other patient examinations.
- Positions and transfers patients safely and comfortably and explains basic procedure.
- Immobilizes patients as necessary and practices radiation safety procedures
- Properly processes images using digital technology
- Evaluates recorded images for technical quality; consistently maintains a repeat rate under 6%.
- Participates in and collaborates with other departments on projects to improve care and efficiency as needed.

QualificationsQualifications
Minimum Education:
- High School Diploma or GED Required
Licenses:
- Registered Technologist-Radiography - ARRT Upon Hire Required and
- Basic Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire Required
Courses and Training:
- Accredited program in radiologic technology Upon Hire Required
Skills Required
- High school diploma or GED
- Registered Technologist-Radiography certification through ARRT upon hire
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification upon hire
- Completion of an accredited program in radiologic technology upon hire
