Job Description:
Baptist Health LaGrange is seeking to hire a part time, 24 hour per week, Radiology Tech II. The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic radiology procedures supporting the Diagnostic Imaging department’s mission to deliver accurate, timely results and exceptional patient care. Responsibilities include verifying patient information and orders, following exam protocols, monitoring patients during procedures, and using proper venous access, aseptic technique, and radiation safety practices. The technologist assists radiologists as needed, responds promptly to STAT and routine requests, provides patient education using Teach Back methodology, and maintains a clean, professional work environment. Additional duties include operating imaging equipment and PACS efficiently, producing high-quality images with minimal repeats, ensuring accurate documentation in the electronic medical record, labeling images per policy, collecting patient histories, completing incident reports as needed, and verifying accurate charge capture.
Requirements: Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology, Kentucky License (KBMIRT, ARRT registry within 90 days, and BLS certification within 90 days. No prior experience required.
