The opportunity
Hitachi Energy is looking for a R&D Supply Chain Management Specialist to join our team in Łódź, Poland. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing the supply chain processes that support research and development initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely availability of materials, implement cost-effective strategies, and drive quality and compliance in all supply chain activities.
How you will make an impact
· Oversee supply chain management activities for R&D projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and timely execution.
· Maintain open communication with stakeholders, providing updates on supply chain performance and its impact on projects.
· Integrate supply chain insights into R&D to optimize cost, quality, and technical performance, aligning team efforts.
· Develop value chains for new products, focusing on total cost of ownership while maintaining quality and delivery standards.
· Ensure timely availability of materials and resources, identifying and addressing bottlenecks in material flow.
· Analyze supply chain data to ensure compliance with regulations and uphold quality standards through regular audits.
· Identify supply chain risks impacting R&D timelines, developing strategies to mitigate these effectively.
· Incorporate sustainability into supply chain management, supporting R&D’s commitment to sustainable practices.
Your background
· Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. · Minimum of [3] years of experience in supply chain management or R&D.
· Experience with sourcing materials and managing supplier relationships, including related tools and processes and Define set of responsibilities bases on Critical To Quality principles
· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex data, to proactively address supply chain challenges and define set of responsibilities bases on Critical To Quality principles
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
