Lead a complex global development program for a regulated medical equipment platform that combines console hardware, electronics, software, system integration, and launch execution. This role aligns a globally distributed cross-functional team and external manufacturing partners to deliver phased releases, regulatory and operational readiness, and market expansion.
Your role:
- Lead a strategic console platform program spanning hardware, electronics, software, systems integration, regulatory readiness, manufacturing readiness, service readiness, and launch execution.
- Own the integrated end-to-end program plan across phased releases, connecting development, verification and validation, documentation, supply chain readiness, field readiness, and commercial launch activities.
- Drive alignment across a globally distributed team that includes engineering, quality, regulatory, operations, service, marketing, finance, and leadership stakeholders, ensuring clarity on priorities, dependencies, risks, decisions, and ownership.
- Partner with internal operations teams and external manufacturing partners to prepare product configurations for release, scale-up, and ongoing platform evolution.
- Lead formal design, business, and readiness reviews with strong preparation, concise communication, disciplined follow-through, and timely escalation of issues that threaten cost, quality, scope, or timing.
- Bring structure and execution rigor to a complex medical device platform program while improving cross-functional coordination, transparency, and decision making without adding unnecessary process burden.
You're the right fit if:
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related field; an advanced degree and/or program management certification is a plus.
- You’ve acquired 10+ years of experience experience leading complex product development programs, ideally involving capital equipment, medical devices, or other regulated hardware and software systems.
- Your skills include experience leading programs that combine hardware, electronics, software, systems integration, and launch execution, leading teams across multiple sites, functions, and stakeholders, and knowing how to create alignment in a matrixed, globally distributed environments.
- You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
- You’re are comfortable operating in a structured development environment that includes formal reviews, regulatory considerations, quality requirements, and launch readiness gates.

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position in Plymouth, MN is $172,000 to $274,000.
The pay range for this position in San Diego, CA is $184,000 to $292,000.
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
