We are looking for a hands-on R&D Lead to lead our elite team of 7 full-stack developers, shaping the future of our platform as we enter a critical phase of scale, automation, and AI-native transformation.
We’re seeking someone who codes, architects, and deploys alongside the team, while bringing strong technical vision, mentoring, and a strategic eye for long-term innovation.
What you will be doing:
- Lead and scale a high-performing engineering organization
- Drive an AI-first development strategy across the entire R&D roadmap
- Own architectural decisions and long-term tech strategy
- Represent engineering in executive forums and roadmap planning
- Operate as a player-coach, contribute to coding, reviews, deployment architecture
- Ensure efficient CI/CD, quality, performance, and resilience in production systems
- Mentor engineers, elevate technical bar, and grow leadership within the team
Requirements
What YOU Bring:
- Proven experience as Head of Engineering, R&D Lead, or senior engineering leader in a fast-paced, cloud-native product company
- Deep hands-on expertise in frontend/backend (we use Java & Flutter), and the ability to context-switch across frontend/backend
- AWS practitioner — ideally with experience across compute, networking, security, serverless, and data streaming
- Passionate about clean architecture, DevOps, CI/CD, testing, observability, and scale
- Excellent communicator and team builder with a bias toward delivery
It’s an advantage if you have:
- Experience with edge computing, EV infrastructure, or IoT platforms
- Track record of leading teams through 10x scale-up phases
