As an R&D Integrator at XTEND, you will be part of the R&D Team responsible for the integration, maintenance, and support of all company products, including R&D platforms and prototype systems.
This is a diverse and highly engaging role that involves hands-on mechanical, electrical, and software work in the lab, while supporting integration processes across multiple engineering and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assembly, integration, and maintenance of drone systems and related platforms
- Building, integrating, and maintaining prototypes and experimental systems
- Supporting engineering teams with prototype development, system testing, and integration activities
- Conducting lab tests, QC procedures, and troubleshooting
- Maintaining an organized, safe, and efficient lab environment
- Executing integration workflows between hardware, electronics, and software components
Technical expertise in electronic components, soldering, wiring, and mechanical assembly
- Hands-on experience in lab work, system integration, system testing, and quality control
- Proven experience with building and/or flying drones or other RC products
- familiarity with PDM and Altium
- English proficiency – reading, writing, and speaking
Bonus / Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Linux-based systems – basic operation and understanding
- Experience using Priority or similar task/project management tools
- Familiarity with RF systems and communication components
- Experience working with composite materials
- Background in elite IDF technology or intelligence units, including Unit 81, Unit Yiftach, or Lehavim program.
- Familiar with flight control firmware such as betaflight or ardupilot.
