Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be in charge of Medium Voltage GIS (Gas Insulation Switchgear), especially for RMU (Ring Main Unit), product design according to the market needs and new technology development trend.
The work model for the role is: onsite
This role is contributing to the Distribution Solutions division in China.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Perform mechanical/dielectric design for Medium Voltage GIS (Gas Insulation Switchgear), especially for RMU (Ring Main Unit).
- Design optimization by performing necessary analysis, e.g. DFMA, FMEA, six-sigma, simulation. Coordination on prototype making and type test according to GB/IEC standard.
- Follow up new technologies for focused products, have a clear view of technology development trend.
- Ensure a successful execution and provide excellent technical contribution to R&D projects..
Qualifications for the role
- Master degree or above, majored in electrical / mechanical Engineering. More than 2 years on electrical / mechanical design, Switchgear design experience.
- Good knowledge about power system and relevant IEC/GB/DL standards. Fluent in MS office tools, SolidWorks, Ansys, Abaqus.
- Familiar with power products new technology development trend, especially for RMU. Familiar with manufacture processes of various parts.
- Fluent in both oral and written English. Excellent innovation capability
- Self-motivated, high curiosity and ability to learn about new technologies
- Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
