Quote and Configuration Specialist

Location: Milton Keynes - Hybrid

This role follows a non‑negotiable 3‑day hybrid working pattern. Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance of our Milton Keynes office.

As a Quote & Configuration Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our sales team, ensuring customer quotes, orders, and contracts are handled efficiently and accurately. As a Quote and Configuration Specialist you will:

  • Managing day-to-day administration of customer accounts with precision and care.
  • Validating and maintaining essential documentation and electronic records.
  • Processing customer quotes, orders, and contracts efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Supporting cross-selling and upselling of our products and services.
  • Liaising with sales, technical, and logistics teams to address customer inquiries and ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitoring order progress, resolving order-related issues, and providing timely updates to stakeholders.
  • Continuously improving product knowledge to enhance profitability and customer satisfaction.

In order to set you up for success we are looking for the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within a sales or customer service setting.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to connect effectively with customers and internal teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities to handle challenges proactively.
  • The ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
  • Familiarity with CRM or ERP systems and an interest in technology.
