Who You Are:
You are an experienced macro quantitative researcher with an interest in cryptocurrency and digital assets. You have at least two years of experience in a quantitative research role at a financial institution or hedge fund and want to leverage this experience to advance Galaxy’s trading and investment operations.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform research and statistical analyses in the evaluation of cryptocurrency tokens and securities
- Collect, clean, and organize large data sets
- Hypothesize and back test statistical market patterns
- Develop and continuously improve mathematical and financial models
What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years of experience in a quant role at a financial institution
- Experience with fixed income derivatives, forex, commodities
- Degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or another quantitative subject
- Familiarity with digital assets and DeFi
- Proficiency in Python required, R a strong plus
- Experience with SQL a strong plus
- Experience with Bloomberg B-PIPE a strong plus

The base salary ranges included below will be commensurate with candidate experience, expertise and local market. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise. At Galaxy, we maintain a total compensation philosophy which consists of a competitive base salary, annual bonus, and equity incentives.
Base Salary Range
$110,000—$160,000 USD
