Responsibilities:
- Architect, build, and maintain the central research platform, including event-driven simulation engines, and high-performance Python libraries for quantitative researchers
- Develop infrastructure that allows strategies to publish their signals efficiently, enabling aggregation and portfolio-level optimization
- Optimize system performance, reliability, and reproducibility, including parallelization, compute resource management, and tooling to ensure consistent research and production results
- Develop analytical frameworks that allow researchers to evaluate signal performance, visualize backtest results, and analyse risk metrics
- Manage and optimize containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes) to ensure scalable and reproducible deployment of research models
- Monitor the status of production tasks and research jobs; actively perform troubleshooting and issue resolution to ensure platform stability and availability
Required Technical Qualification, Skills, and Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or STEM field
- Advanced proficiency in Python. Ability to write clean, production-ready code with a focus on performance and maintainability
- Proficiency building and maintaining docker containers and managing deployments on Kubernetes (K8s)
- Proficiency in utilizing AWS services (e.g., EKS, S3, RDS)
- Familiarity with financial asset classes such as Equities, Derivatives, Fixed Income, FX, etc
- Self-motivated and disciplined with strong organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with research teams
