The Commodities business focuses on trading metals, oil, gas, power, ags and softs. We are in the process of building a premier team around one of the most successful commodities traders in the industry. Successful applicants will have unapparelled exposure to the knowledge and expertise that exists within this pod.

Role requirements:

• We’re looking for a hungry, analytical thinker to join a globally well-regarded Portfolio Manager.
• The right person will leverage an exceptional technical skill-set to undertake the following responsibilities:
• Build analytical models, including supply and demand forecasting models across commodities markets.
• Data Analysis: You will be managing, analysing and interpreting large data-sets to deliver research that will be helpful for trade idea formation.
• Data visualisation.
• Develop market-specialist knowledge over the long-term under an experienced portfolio manager to become an expert in the field.

Experience required: 

• Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in Maths, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science or related courses from a leading university.
• Expert level Python ability.
• Professional experience in a data science/statistics is preferred.
