We are seeking a Senior Quantitative Analyst to join our journey of transforming data development, analytics, and reporting processes with cutting-edge big data technologies and cloud computing.
As a Senior Quantitative Analyst within our high-caliber analytics team, you will drive business performance through insightful data analytics and reporting. You will leverage the latest analytical tools and techniques to optimize portfolio performance, operational efficiency, and customer engagement. Your contributions will be pivotal in modernizing our reporting infrastructure and fostering innovation with Big Data technologies.
In this role, you will focus on creating impactful reporting and analytic solutions, enabling self-service data consumption through dynamic dashboards and intuitive reports. You will collaborate with data scientists, business analysts, and IT partners to drive the adoption of advanced data visualization tools and techniques.
Job Responsibilities:
- Leverage technical skills to develop SQL code to mine large complex data sets (via Toad, Alteryx, etc.)
- Use critical thinking skills to learn the business process, identify ROE opportunities and use analytics to develop initiatives to capitalize on those opportunities
- Create analytical or statistical models (e.g. Python) as a solution when a business opportunity is identified
- Harness leadership skills which allow you to work independently, take ownership and accountability of the projects assigned to you
- Align to evolving business priorities and deliver on strategic solutions that drive successful execution on those priorities
- Design and develop rich visualization dashboards that efficiently summarize performance metrics and KPIs and provide self-serve capability to the end-users in intuitive and meaningful ways
- Coordinate with multiple business partners to ensure that all business needs and projects are appropriately identified, prioritized and executed. Manage delivery in agile format
- Provide strategic partnership on executing on data strategy that promotes modern data architecture, governance and democratization of data access
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, or a related field, with 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate solutions and recommendations.
- Proven track record in executing large-scale automation initiatives using tools like Alteryx.
- Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards.
- Experience with big data technologies and programming languages, including Python, Spark, or Scala.
- Proficiency in developing reporting solutions and providing data analytics.
- Ability to perform independent research and provide impactful solutions.
- Adaptability to new technologies and data tools, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in an agile manner, adapting to changing business priorities while meeting deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Advanced degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in strategic data partnerships and promoting data democratization.
