Job Description
Our Reporting & Analytics Team plays a crucial role in supporting the Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) Location Strategy priorities by delivering comprehensive reports and insightful analyses on headcount and real estate needs for CCB's global workforce of approximately 150,000. We are committed to transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights through high-impact presentations and robust reporting.
As a Vice President on our Reporting and Analytics team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) Location Strategy priorities. Your work will encompass headcount and location analysis, space utilization assessments, and ad-hoc research. You will have the opportunity to respond swiftly to executive requests, provide strategic recommendations, and continuously improve our reporting processes to meet the evolving needs of senior executives and business partners.
Job responsibilities
- Oversee financial budgeting, reporting, forecasting and analysis
- Complete efficiency reporting, analytics and strategy, including but not limited to: location strategy, span of control, reporting and analytics
- Respond promptly to executive ad-hoc requests related to project management, presentation development, and business analysis
- Create financial business cases supporting business initiatives
- Develop and track performance metrics, creating presentations, and generally providing financial analysis on a variety of topics to senior management
- Help design new reports and dashboards to efficiently deliver the financial results to senior management
- Enhance controls and streamlining processes, introducing automation where possible
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a subject of a technical nature
- 7+ years of work experience in Financial Services, and/or accounting/controller background.
- Advanced skills in Excel, Powerpoint, Alteryx
- Inquisitive, enthusiastic and diligent, and capable of challenging peers
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly
- Highly motivated and able to thrive and think clearly under pressure and tight deadlines
- Integrity in handling highly sensitive and confidential information
- Team player with the ability to be respected as a trusted partner for the business, finance, and financial planning & analysis teams
- Highly motivated self-starter with excellent time management/prioritization skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with ability to analyze large data sets and present conclusions concisely
Candidates must be able to physically work in our Plano, TX office 3 days a week and remotely from home 2 days per week. The specific schedule will be determined and communicated by direct management.
