DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Design, develop and execute code to define the customer population to be targeted in servicing and marketing campaigns. Develop code based on the technical specification to extract and process large volumes of customer and account data. Serve as a key stakeholder from Audience Management Chase Auto Finance team for gathering marketing requirements, and executing the campaign to create marketing deliverables via email, direct mail, ads and others. Guide the Marketer, Business Analyst, and other less technical campaign resources on ways to design complex audience selection. Provide ideas for global process improvements to increase department efficiency. Represent the audience management team as a SME (Subject Matter Expert) in stakeholder meetings. Represent the Audience Management area in technical meetings with IT and other departments. Adhere to the department's code development and documentation procedures. Provide recommendations and feedback to improve or implement strong control procedures. Maintain a proper data control environment and work closely with Quality Validation and Control teams to ensure compliance with legal, marketing, and data use rules. Research data elements to be used for targeting using database metadata. Collaborate with business partners to gather targeting requirements for a campaign and establish strong business partnerships with other members of project teams. Develop and validate audit plans and data to ensure targeted populations meet requirements. Participate in and perform code quality reviews. Suggest process improvements and assist in the update of department's documentation as needed. Identify relationships and trends in data, as well as any factors that could affect the result of the campaign. Communicate impacts on business partners. Provide sample sizes per category to validate all components extracted and derived fields created. Prepare campaigns for post-processing Analytics and Reporting teams. Develop and maintain campaign run-books and training documentation for business resiliency.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Quant Analytics, Lead Consultant, I. T. Analyst, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Quant Analytics, Lead Consultant, I. T. Analyst, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following: Teradata, Snowflake or Oracle databases; Writing macros and functions; Automation in SAS coding platforms using Control-M automation schedulers and processors; Excel functions including Count, Sum, and Aggregation, and Pivots for Business reporting; and Creating documentation for audits and business requirements, and presenting them in front of stakeholders and management. This position requires any amount of experience in the following: SAS coding and Unix Scripting to develop marketing programs in SAS Viya for emails, direct mails, Digital Ads, Atm ads and Calling lists; Conducting controlled experiments and A/B Tests; and Audit processes for marketing.
