Job Summary:
As an Applied AI Developer, you will design, develop, and deploy generative and agentic AI systems using Amazon Bedrock and the AWS ecosystem. This hands-on role involves orchestrating multi-step, autonomous AI agents to deliver business outcomes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI capabilities into existing platforms.
Job Responsibilities:
- Architect and develop end-to-end generative and agentic AI applications using Amazon Bedrock and various LLMs.
- Implement multi-step autonomous agents capable of reasoning, task decomposition, and tool use.
- Take ownership of AI projects from proof-of-concept through production deployment, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-efficiency.
- Conduct prompt engineering, iterative model refinement, and integrate techniques like Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to enhance LLM accuracy.
- Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and software engineers to define AI-driven workflows.
- Ensure security, compliance, and responsible AI practices using AWS services like Guardrails for Amazon Bedrock.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging research and technologies in generative AI and agentic systems.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Proven experience designing, developing, and deploying generative AI solutions in an enterprise environment.
- AWS Certified is an advantage; hands-on experience with Amazon Bedrock and core AWS services like Lambda, S3, Step Functions, and API Gateway.
- Strong understanding of LLM concepts, prompt engineering, RAG, and fine-tuning techniques.
- Expertise in Python; experience in React is an advantage.
- Experience with agentic frameworks like LangChain or Amazon Bedrock Agents.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills to explain complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Experience with agentic frameworks like LangChain or Amazon Bedrock Agents is highly desirable.
