We currently have a vacancy for a Quality & Test Specialist fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Athens, Greece. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.
Your tasks
- Analyse the system under testing and design the test strategy;
- Create, design and maintain test plans, test scripts, test data and develop test acceptance criteria;
- Prepare and plan the test environments as well as log any defects and potential improvements;
- Perform testing activities and report test results;
- Generate requisite documentation to support quality management activities;
- Select and develop integration testing techniques to ensure the system meets requirements;
- Design and customize integration tests, identify issues that may jeopardize the correct functioning of the application;
- Organize test plans and procedures for white and black box testing at unit, module, system, and integration levels;
- Contribute to result analysis and reporting procedures;
- Contribute to defect tracking and correction procedures;
- Use, select and design testing tools to assess software quality;
- Apply, design and develop automated testing strategies and build automated testing frameworks;
- Develop standards to increase test effectiveness and efficiency.
- University degree in IT or relevant discipline combined with a minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in IT;
- Experience with web technologies and Microsoft applications developed with ASP.NET, PHP, and Node.js;
- Experience with Functional, Regression, and Exploratory testing;
- Experience with UI/UX testing;
- Experience with testing procedures and platforms;
- Experience with integration testing;
- Experience with automation testing frameworks;
- Experience with quality and risk management procedures;
- Experience with producing relevant documentation;
- Excellent command of the English language.
