Quality & Safety Coordinator | Nox Metals | Detroit, MI
Nox Metals is a technology company in Detroit supplying metal. We use software and automation to supply metal to American factories faster than the industry thought possible.
You will:
Own our safety program. Training, PPE, hazard control, and OSHA recordkeeping
Investigate incidents and near misses, find the real root cause, and close the loop
Walk the floor daily and stop work when something is not right
Own material quality from receiving to shipping, including certification and traceability
Write the SOPs people actually use and keep them current
Prepare for and run customer and third-party audits
You are:
Safety-obsessed
Trained in OSHA general industry standards, OSHA 30 preferred
Familiar with quality management systems, ISO 9001 or AS9100
Organized and documents stuff, high attention to detial
Comfortable building the program instead of inheriting one
Nice to have:
Experience in manufacturing or warehousing
Internal auditor training, ISO 9001 or AS9100
AI proficiency
The role is full time, in person in Detroit. Shift Hours: Day shift (8AM to 4PM), with flexibility to cover second and weekend shifts as needed.
