About the role

Haleon is seeking a strategic BU Quality Lead for Italy, Spain & Portugal to join our passionate team in Spain. This is your chance to become a key architect of the area strategy, leveraging your expertise to drive quality performance, craft insightful analysis, and propel the area towards ambitious goals while ensuring full compliance with the applicable regulation for our vast portfolio (Medicines, Medical devices, Food supplements, cosmetics & General goods). In this role you will partner up with Business and Supply Chain functions to drive E2E impact, value creation, cost efficiency, customer satisfaction and top supply service.

Key responsibilities

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:

• Drive BU overall strategy, plan for the future and deliver at pace Quality Operational performance, Quality Compliance and Excellence. Bring strategic leadership view for up to 3 years ahead in development of your function to meet the enterprise deliveries.

• Grow yourself and others. Lead a dynamic Quality team in this region and nurture a high performance culture. Deliver on capability and development commitments. Plan targeted succession planning for key roles in your area. Build the associated capabilities and develop a flexible pool of Quality Excellence resources to deliver the QSC ambition (and associated metrics) within the area.

• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence YoY

• Partner with the Supply Chain & Commercial teams, translating quality insights into winning strategies. Leverage product Quality to support Consumer First Agenda

• Provide strategic and technical leadership direction, consistent with QSC and Commercial priorities. Drive meaningful quality resolutions

• Nurture positive and collaborative relationships across E2E supply chain to drive Quality Commercial deliveries and bring customer focus view at the centre. Balance quality deliveries and impact against growth and profitability targets

• Lead at Haleon: Join the Leadership Team to shape long-term strategy and execute for success. Influence 360 senior leadership in support of the Quality Strategy and intent.

• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize GxP processes.

• Ensure end to end compliance with Quality and Regulatory guidelines, including ongoing inspection readiness for audits (Internal, external) and robust quality governance.

• Identify and mitigate quality risks in the supply chain. Enable Business continuation plans upon need

Qualifications and skills Essential

Education:

• Degree in pharmaceutical life sciences or equivalent (Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, etc)

Experience:

• Min at least 10 years with demonstrated experience in leadership roles

• Fast moving consumer Healthcare companies, GxP technical knowledge demonstrated in both GMP and GDP

• This role requires travelling and could be based in Spain, Portugal or Italy
