Job Description
Your contribution to something big:
Within the Bosch Group, our Corporate Quality department, responsible for Bosch quality management tools and processes worldwide, is expanding its global team in Portugal. As a Quality Gates and Approvals Manager, you will coordinate quality central directives for quality gates, engineering change management and approvals within Bosch Group. For that you will:
- Coordinate the Corporate Functional Councils for quality gates, engineering change management and approvals for the Bosch Group;
- Take on the change coordination function for Bosch internal quality directives (CDQ 0304, 0404, 0515 and 0509);
- Support the implementation of central quality directives (CDQ), consulting to general questions, and coordinating Corporate Good Practices and Solution Circles;
- Define and optimize Bosch quality gates throughout the different businesses and engineering areas;
- Lead internal network meetings, organize and coordinate quality gates, engineering change management and quality approvals related information exchange, connected community and conferences;
- Follow-up and support the CDQ self-evaluation by the divisions, and integration of other sources.
Qualifications
What distinguishes you:
- Education: Degree in mechanical, electrical, or software engineering;
- Experience and know how:
- Previous experience in management positions for development and manufacturing;
- Previous experience in management positions for quality;
- Great understanding of quality processes such as quality gates, engineering change management and approvals process;
- Working Style and Methods: Analytical, detail oriented and structured work style with a problem-solving mindset. Ability to work within a team environment and to create a good network inside and outside the company;
- Personality: proactive and autonomous, with an assertive communication style. Interested in continuous development and ability to adapt and influence;
- Languages: very good knowledge and communication in English. Knowledge of German is a plus.
