About the role 

The Certification Lead oversees mobile app certification testing, ensuring compliance with App Store and Play Store guidelines by writing, editing, and executing test cases. They manage bug databases, maintaining high-quality documentation, and conduct thorough bug finding and reviewing. Additionally, they mentor Cert Testers, prepare progress reports for stakeholders, and act as a liaison to escalate critical issues and align project teams with certification standards and milestones.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee certification testing for mobile applications, ensuring adherence to App Store and Play Store guidelines.
  • Write, edit, and execute test cases to validate app compliance with required standards and guidelines.
  • Manage bug databases, ensuring accurate logging, tracking, and resolution of issues.
  • Conduct thorough bug finding, writing, and reviewing, maintaining high standards for issue documentation.
  • Train and mentor Cert Testers, ensuring team members are aligned with best practices in certification testing.
  • Prepare status reports and end-of-project reports to communicate progress and outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Escalate critical issues affecting project timelines or quality to internal management and/or clients as needed.
  • Act as a liaison between project teams and clients to ensure alignment on certification standards and project milestones.

Requirements 

  • Must have 3+ years of experience in certification testing.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong knowledge on bug database and test cases execution
  • Must have experience in writing and editing test cases.

Working Condition: 

  • On-Site in our Studio in Braga, Portugal 
  • 8:00 to 17:00, Mondays through Fridays
