Quality Engineer (QE) plays a critical role in ensuring that the manufacturing quality control and assurance provided in the manufacturing meet the required/expectations & regulations of quality standards and interested parties. The objective of this position is to ensure that products and processes meet established quality standards and customer expectations through systematic quality planning, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
Major Responsibilities:
- Quality Planning:
Develop and implement quality control plans, inspection procedures, and testing protocols for products and processes. - Process Monitoring:
Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards. - Root Cause Analysis & CAPA:
Investigate product or process failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). - Data Analysis:
Use statistical tools (e.g., SPC, Pareto, histograms) to analyze quality data and identify trends or areas for improvement. - Documentation & Compliance:
Maintain quality documentation such as inspection records, test reports, and compliance certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949). - Internal & External Audits:
Support or lead internal audits and assist with customer or third-party audits. - Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with engineering, production, and supplier teams to resolve quality issues and support new product development.
Required Education / Experience / Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
- Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., 8D, FMEA, PPAP, Six Sigma)
- Familiarity with quality standards and regulatory requirements
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience with quality software and data analysis tools is a plus ( 3 years’ experience or new graduates are welcome)
