HOURS: Full-time.
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at our Chester office location
About this opportunity
Here at Lloyds Banking Group (LBG), we put our customers at the heart of everything we do, and every colleague has an important part to play. The Embedded Finance team is a fast-paced start-up group within Consumer Lending and is tasked with building out propositions that solve customers' financial needs, when and where they are. We’ve just launched our first product, Black Horse Flex Pay, on a third-party platform and we are moving into BAU process. This involves the deployment of automated test environments to maintain the system in production with exposure to an increasing number of customers. You’ll be keen to develop your technical knowledge and understanding as well develop, practice and demonstrate the workplace skills and behaviours required for this job role.

What you’ll need:
Strong background in automation testing using tools such as Selenium, Playwright
Ability to architect scalable and maintainable test automation frameworks
Proficiency in programming languages used for test automation such as Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python
Expertise in API testing and automation, including contract testing and mocking strategies
Experience in iOS and Android app testing and automation, including use of tools like Appium
Hands-on experience with manual testing and a solid understanding of QA processes and best practices
Experience in non-functional testing using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or k6
Familiarity with JIRA and Xray for test management and tracking
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests using tools like Jenkins, Harness
Exposure to security testing, and accessibility automation
Ability to work with containerised environments (e.g., Docker) and cloud-based test execution
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across multiple layers of the tech stack
