Currently we are looking for a Quality and EHS Engineer who will be responsible for implementation and compliance of the Quality Assurance in accordance with ISO, contract specifications and the Quality Management System for the site designated. Analyze and report returned parts from customers, customer complaints and control outgoing quality inspection process.
This role is based on-site in Chippenham and reports directly to QEHS & CI Manager.
Develop and manage the company QEHS Management System
Manage RMAs and failure analysis, including 4D and 8D reporting
Represent the company when dealing with customers on complaint-related matters
Investigate and report on customer complaints and warranty claims
Inspect Quality Assurance and Certificates of Conformance (CoC) processes
Implement, review, and update process instructions
Conduct internal audits to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001 standards
Create and maintain process risk assessments
Support HSE gap assessments and develop corrective actions
Higher education in Electrical Engineering or a similar field
At least 2 years of experience in the Quality field, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of and experience with root cause analysis tools such as 8D and FMEA
Experience working with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001 standards
An analytical mindset with a willingness to question processes and look for improvements
Proven ability to drive corrective and preventive actions following customer complaints, internal audits, and risk assessments
Experience writing procedures, test specifications, work instructions, and engineering change documents
Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
