Quality Engineer
Stryker is hiring Quality Engineer in Sandy Springs, GA! In this role, you will provide quality engineering support with a focus on continuous improvement of internal products and processes.
What you will do:
- Support supplier quality issues impacting daily operations.
- Support manufacturing transfers to/from other plants/facilities, executing appropriate quality activities.
- Engage and interface in internal and external audits
- Performs PPAP activities for supplier changes
- Ensure compliance to regulation and standards.
- Work closely with operations and the business functions to ensure quality performance of product and processes.
- Collaborates with Divisional QA, cross functional and suppliers’ teams to address top quality issues.
- Drive continuous improvement actions to reduce manufacturing defects.
What you need:
Required:
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Science or related field.
- 0+ years’ experience in a Quality Assurance role.
Preferred
- Have a good understanding of engineering and quality concepts / theories.
- Working knowledge of ISO13485, 21 CFR Part 820 Quality Systems.
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Science or related field.
- Understanding of medical device concepts.
- Knowledge of Risk Based and statistical concepts.
