Job Summary
We are looking for a technically oriented Quality Assurance Engineer with background in electronics, who will support quality aspects for the Barcelona Site, including, but not limited to: quality control, manufacturing process quality, non-conforming materials, document control, new product development and returns management.
Primary Responsibilities
* Quality Management System (QMS) support:
- Support QMS Maintenance including documentation review (QAP, SOP) and update.
- Assist in Documentation Control tasks as needed.
- Participate in process design and continuous improvement initiatives as needed (lean, 5S, six sigma).
* Support Non-conforming Material Management Process:
- Act as quality representative in weekly Material Review Boards, trigger escalations as needed.
- Coordinate product disposal actions (in house reworks, supplier reworks, return to vendor, scrap transactions)
- Prepare non-conformance reports and support corrective action process following an 8D format.
* Support data gathering and analysis to assess process performance and achievement of key KPI in support of Quality Objectives.
* Contribute to Product Development Process for NPI and NSI supporting the execution of quality-related deliverables: PPAP, APQP and control plan design.
* Manage the Product Return process: handle customer communication (technical discussions as needed) and participate in the troubleshooting process.
Required Experience, Education And Skills
- BS – electronics engineering or mechatronics engineering.
- 1 – 2 year experience in electro-mechanical manufacturing organization in Quality / Production functional areas.
- Knowledge ISO 9001 & ISO 13485.
- Knowledge of REACH & RoHS is a plus.
- Familiar with circuit board fabrication and assembly.
- Fluent English as well as Spanish skills.
