We are currently seeking an exceptional professional to join us as Quality Engineer

Location: Singapore, Changi North.


The Quality & Engineering function ensures that customer requirements are understood and translated into robust processes that comply with legal and quality approval requirements. This is achieved by working with all employees to increase the company’s efficiency, effectiveness and profitability by identifying and facilitating opportunities for improvement.


Responsibilities:

• Serve as the technical subject matter expert for aircraft products, providing guidance on product specifications, requirements, drawings, and resolving customer technical queries in a timely manner.

• Lead investigations into customer product and service concerns, performing root cause analysis and implementing effective corrective and preventive actions to drive customer satisfaction.

• Act as the primary customer-facing technical representative, providing professional support and building strong relationships to understand customer requirements and expectations.

• Identify, lead, and implement customer-focused improvement initiatives that enhance operational performance, service quality, and long-term customer relationships.

• Develop and maintain effective relationships with customers and suppliers, driving continuous improvement activities that support business objectives.

• Lead, coach, and develop the Inspection team, ensuring capability, competence, and resource readiness to meet current and future business requirements.

• Establish, monitor, and drive improvement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to support departmental and company objectives.

• Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS), regulatory requirements, customer requirements, and internal policies and procedures. 

• Participate in cross-functional and company-wide continuous improvement activities to enhance business performance.

• Comply with all Health & Safety, Data Protection, and company policies, procedures, and standards.

• Undertake other duties as reasonably required in support of the role and business needs.

Requirements:

• Relevant education in mechanical or manufacturing engineering (Mechanical or Manufacturing desired)

• 3+ years of relevant experience working

• Aerospace experience will be an plus

• Experience in problem resolution/root cause analysis

• Some experience leading continuous improvement activities

• Some experience in customer/supplier technical quality concerns

• Advance English language proficiency (other APAC languages desirable)

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Good presentation skills

• Strong influencing and relationship-building skills.
