You will also play an important role in supporting and improving our Quality Management System, partnering closely with manufacturing, engineering, suppliers, and customers to ensure our products consistently meet expectations, specifications, and industry standards. ⚙️ What You Will Do?

 

Quality Engineering & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead structured problem-solving activities using Six Sigma, DMAIC, DIVE, Shainin, and other quality engineering methodologies.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for internal and external quality issues.
  • Analyze quality data and trends to identify opportunities for process improvement and defect reduction.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing nonconformances, scrap, rework, and customer escapes.
  • Utilize statistical analysis and quality tools to support data-driven decision making.

 

Quality Systems & Compliance

  • Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with AS9100 and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure quality processes, procedures, and records are maintained and compliant with customer and industry requirements.

Customer & Supplier Quality

  • Serve as a quality representative and technical resource for customer quality inquiries, investigations, and corrective actions.
  • Lead customer complaint investigations and ensure timely resolution through sustainable corrective actions.
  • Partner with Supply Chain and suppliers to improve supplier quality performance and address supplier-related nonconformances.

Manufacturing Quality Support

  • Partner with Manufacturing and Engineering teams to improve process performance and product quality.
  • Support inspection planning, first article inspections (FAI), and validation activities.
  • Review engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of inspection methods, tooling, fixtures, and gauges.
  • Provide technical guidance on dimensional inspection methods, CMM applications, and measurement system effectiveness
Qualifications

🎯 What You Will Bring?

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace, Industrial, or a related Engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of quality engineering experience in aerospace, aviation, automotive, or another regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, and aerospace customer requirements, including quality system implementation, compliance, auditing, and continuous improvement.
  • Hands-on experience leading root cause investigations, corrective actions, containment, CAPA/RCCA, and customer complaint communication.
  • Experience applying structured problem-solving methodologies such as Six Sigma, DMAIC, DIVE, Shainin Red X®, 8D, 5 Why, or Fishbone; Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.
  • Strong statistical and quality engineering skills, including MSA studies, Cpk/Ppk, SPC, process capability analysis, PPAP/APQP, Control Plans, pFMEAs, and inspection sheet development.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, specifications, and inspection requirements.
  • Experience with precision machining, fabrication, assembly, tooling design, manufacturing fixtures, inspection gauges, and dimensional inspection methods, including surface plate layout and CMM applications.
  • Working knowledge of measurement system effectiveness, calibration requirements, ERP, quality management, and statistical analysis software.
  • Demonstrated ability to use data, collaboration, and clear communication to influence quality improvements across manufacturing, engineering, suppliers, and customers.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and results-oriented, with a strong commitment to continuous improvement, operational excellence, and achieving quality performance objectives.
