About the Job
As a Quality Engineer, you will help ensure the quality and appearance of Specialized's premium bicycle products by working closely with suppliers and cross-functional teams throughout new product launches and production.
This role focuses on paint quality, cosmetic appearance, and surface finishing for bicycle frames, forks, and components.

How You Will Make a Difference
Inspect paint and cosmetic quality on frames, forks, and bicycle components to ensure products meet Specialized quality standards
Record, document, and communicate quality findings using inspection data, reports, and visual documentation
Support pilot builds, First Article Inspections (FAI), sample evaluations, color matching, masking, and decal placement activities
Follow quality control plans, inspection standards, and product specifications throughout product development and production
Support supplier quality improvement activities by collecting data, monitoring quality issues, and tracking follow-up actions
Verify manufacturing and finishing requirements such as paint appearance, surface finish, paint thickness, and curing conditions
Identify recurring defects, abnormal conditions, and quality risks and communicate findings to internal stakeholders
Support supplier audits, process reviews, and on-site quality assessments as required
Maintain accurate inspection records, quality reports, and supporting documentation
Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to support successful product launches and consistent production quality
What You Need to Win
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Materials, Industrial Technology, Chemistry, Manufacturing, Quality, or a related field
Experience in manufacturing quality, supplier quality, production quality, quality inspection, or a related manufacturing environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify cosmetic, appearance, and product quality issues
Ability to document findings clearly and communicate quality concerns effectively
Understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, product inspection methods, or quality improvement practices
Basic knowledge of cosmetic quality, surface finishing, paint, coating, or appearance standards is preferred but not required
Familiarity with quality tools such as defect analysis, root cause investigation, corrective actions, or continuous improvement methods is a plus
Basic English communication skills; Chinese language capability is a plus
Willingness to travel to supplier locations as required
Based in or able to commute to Bình Dương, including Thủ Dầu Một, Bến Cát, and surrounding industrial areas
