Join our Toyota Material Handling Team as a Quality Engineer

 

The Role:

We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated Quality Engineer who brings decisiveness, strong decision-making, and expertise to the table. In this role, you’ll be communicating and leading while collaborating with a dynamic and diverse team to achieve shared goals. At Toyota Material Handling, we value innovative and creative ideas. What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Provide direction and leadership to manufacturing and suppliers regarding process improvements and effective countermeasure techniques for non-conforming goods and warranty
  • Responsible for leading corrective and preventive actions for assigned commodity
  • Drive aggressive implementation plans and schedules
  • Prioritize work and manage time with limited guidance
  • Conducts supplier audits and dispositions supplier ability to meet company objectives for safety, quality, & delivery
  • Additional duties as assigned

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Strong mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical background
  • Strong blueprint reading skills
  • Deep understand and knowledge of AQPQ
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal)

 

What Sets You Apart:

  • Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred

 

Where and When You’ll Work:

  • This is an in-person role located at our Columbus, Indiana office—ideal for those who thrive in a hands-on, team-oriented environment.
  • Travel: up to 25 – 30% (domestic and international)

 

What Your Total Compensation & Benefits Package will look like:

 

Salary - $70,000 - $100,000 per year. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.

 

Relocation: This role is eligible for relocation assistance based on current location
