Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain both manual and automated test scripts
- Execute manual and automated test cases to validate system functionality and quality
- Define comprehensive test cases, scenarios, and detailed test scripts
- Collaborate closely with cross functional stakeholders to understand business requirements and domain context
- Plan, track, and report on testing activities in alignment with project timelines
- Work with development, product, and other teams to understand functionality, improve test processes, and implement quality best practices
- Leverage enterprise-approved AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation by streamlining workflows and automating repetitive tasks. Evaluate emerging trends to drive continuous improvement and strategic innovation.
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in software testing (manual and/or automation)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
- Exposure to test automation frameworks and scripting (preferably Java-based)
- Technical:
- Hands-on academic or practical experience with Java programming and SQL scripting
- Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar)
- Proficiency in working with Excel for test data preparation, analysis, and reporting
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, test case design, and defect lifecycle
- Basic to intermediate Java programming skills for test automation
- Proven ability to work effectively with API testing and web based testing and data validations
- Proven solid communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Proven to be a fast learner with solid analytical and grasping abilities
- Proven to be comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Proven ability to write and execute SQL queries for data validation
