Who is your future team?
We are a growing High Volume Quality team within Global Manufacturing at Operations.
Within the team there is different knowledge and areas of responsibility, but we all have the same goal:
- To guide and support our Engineers and Suppliers to select and produce the best possible Electrical solutions at a high and repeatable quality level.
What you’ll do here as Quality Engineer - Industrialization/SMT?
In this role, you will be part of the complete life cycle of a product, from product development projects early until End of Life. The focus area will be high volume production.
- You will be part of concept studies and early projects to give feedback and best solutions for our products.
- You will work closely with both engineers and contract manufacturers to guide and steer, for us to have the best possible set up for manufacturing of our products.
- You will be part of a team who prepare and support our manufacturers for the technologies we need for our products. All within the area of PCBA & SMT assembly.
- Be second line support to the EMS Quality Engineers
- Drive the PCB commodity work from a Quality point of view
Who are we looking for/Who are you?
As a person you are easy to work with and a team player. You are helpful and flexible, knowing what is most crucial and able to prioritize. You know your field of area and have the curiosity of finding new solutions.
- You are a specialist within SMT / PCB Assembly production and related areas
- Have 5+ years of relevant work experience including first hand experience from production environment
- You are very familiar with the production equipment and know how to use it.
- You are analytical and can write instructions and processes.
- You love sharing your knowledge, and give training both internal and externally
- You are a person that keep yourself updated on developments within your area
- You know the impact specific components and packages have on both the electrical and production process issues.
In addition to the above, it will be nice if you have/are:
- Certified IPC-A-610 specialist
- Knowledge of international standards ex. J-STD-001
- ESD impact problem solving experience
- Production preparation engineer
- Component engineer
- ISO auditor
Travelling to our manufacturers will demand about 50 days/year.
