Responsibilities:
Create and update test scenarios/cases on a regular basis
Conduct thorough manual testing, including functional, regression, Performance Testing, to identify defects and ensure the stability of the software
Develop and execute automated tests to ensure the functional correctness and usability.
Document and track software defects, verifying bug fixes, and ensuring they are properly resolved
Collaborate with Developers, Scrum Master, PO, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage
Participate for assist with the investigation of support issues
Contribute to test planning activities.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, providing input on user stories, acceptance criteria, and testability of features
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer, Software Engineering, or a related field
Proven experience in manual testing of web-based applications
Strong understanding of testing methodologies and techniques
2+ years of experience in manual testing of complex applications.
Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, defect life cycle, and QA methodologies.
Expertise in writing test cases, test scenarios, and test reports.
Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
Perform api testing when needed
Excellent conversational and professional communication.
Strong proficiency in Playwright
Solid knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript or similar programming languages.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, DOM).
Knowledge of API testing (Postman, REST Assured) is a mandate.
Knowledge of SQL for database testing.
Familiarity with TDD, unit testing, and QA lifecycle processes.
Experience with Test automation tools using an object-oriented approach.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work proactively in a Scrum/Agile environment.
This is an onsite position, 5 days/week, in the Vadodara office working the DAY SHIFT. Remote applicants will not be considered.
