Role Overview
The Quality Engineer II will be responsible for designing and executing robust test strategies, enhancing automation frameworks, and driving quality initiatives within Agile teams.

Key Job Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for UI, API, and backend systems.
- Derive and execute comprehensive test plans and cases based on system requirements.
- Integrate automated testing within CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery.
- Perform functional, regression, and API testing, ensuring full test coverage.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve defects and improve testability.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release readiness reviews.
- Contribute to improving automation frameworks and testing tools for scalability and reliability.
- Document and communicate test results, risks, and recommendations clearly.
- Mentor junior team members and share best practices for test design and automation.
Skills Needed
- 3+ years of experience in software testing and automation.
- Hands-on experience with BDD-Cucumber, Selenium and Java for UI automation.
- Good understanding of API testing (Postman, Rest Assured).
- Experience with SQL and relational database validation.
- Familiarity with version control (Git/GitHub).
- Good understanding of Java.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and test management tools (JIRA, XRAY).
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
- Exposure to performance testing (JMeter, Gatling).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions).
- ISTQB or similar testing certification.
