Pratt Miller is looking for a qualified candidate for a Quality Clerk position to assist with work order creation, perform incoming receiving inspections, coordinate manufacturing operations, compile inspection reports, and help with final product release, as well as other support as required. A successful Quality Clerk will work with the manufacturing team to provide the support they need and have the ability to learn additional functions and skills with guidance from colleagues.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & SKILLS:
Typical responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Create work orders routers based on requests, including specifying manufacturing steps determined from drawings and other specifications
- Compile and maintain inspection, material, and other records and required documentation
- Coordinate with internal and external manufacturing leads to hit critical timing marks
- Examine incoming parts and documentation to confirm correct specifications and standards were met
- Operate laser parts marker to serialize parts
- Communicate in a professional manner, both verbally and written
- Proficient with Windows based computers and MS software such as Teams, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Experience with Sage or other ERP systems is preferred, but not required
- Able to perform in a dynamic and fast paced environment
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of a High School diploma or GED equivalent required
- 1-3 years of work experience in manufacturing environment
- Experience with manufacturing functions, such as machining processes, heat treatments, and coating applications
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems
- Ability to read blueprints
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Position requires occasional moderate physical activity
- Moving and maneuvering heavy objects may be required at times
EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
- 7:00 AM start time, Monday-Friday
- 40-hour standard work week with overtime paid as worked when required
- Must be flexible with schedule to accommodate fixed deadlines sometimes working longer hours, Saturdays, and/or Sundays
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Combination of office and manufacturing areas
- Periodic travel may be required between local facilities
- Stress may occur periodically

Pay Range:
$46,300.00 - $71,300.00The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
