As the quality coordinator, you will report to the Quality Manager onsite. You will ensure ingredients used in this production facility meet the requirements outlined in the ingredient specification. Review batch records, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines, collaborating with production and quality teams to address discrepancies, maintaining accurate documentation, communicating with team members, participating in training for continuous improvement, following company policies and safety guidelines, documenting process deviations. You will be involved in all aspects of quality and safety including audits, HACCP program evaluation, GMP training, sanitation evaluation, insect and rodent control, working with operations personnel on quality and safety issues, customer complaints, implementing procedures.

  • Work daily and weekend overtime.
  • You will monitor incoming ingredients for compliance to specifications including review of Certificates of Analysis (COA's) or sampling and testing per test schedule.
  • Collect data regarding physical attribute information on incoming ingredients including reviewing historical data for possible trends or shifts in data.
  • Assure that materials received have shelf life remaining per the manufacture date and receipt date.
  • Assure that materials are stored at correct temperatures in the material specification.
  • Communication and follow-up of vendor failures to meet specification requirements through use of FoodLogiq quality management system.
  • Communication directly with suppliers to provide COA's if missing or incomplete.
  • Collaboration with Supplier Quality on questionable ingredient disposition and vendor follow-up.
  • Management and coordination of execution of raw material hold process/list for incoming ingredients and ingredients identified during production as needing to be placed on hold.
  • Communicate disposition of ingredients on hold with Logistics.
  • Document ingredient noncompliance with digital pictures if necessary for clarification.
  • Coordinate Supplier COAs with ingredient loads to assure correct lots are included on the COAs and to verify that specifications are met.
  • Coordinate sample collection for microbiological and chemical analysis.
  • Responsible for weekly production area audits and providing feedback to area supervisors.
  • Review batch records, including production and rework documentation, to verify accuracy and completeness. Ensure that all records comply with company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with relevant team members to provide feedback, address concerns, and ensure resolution of issues.
  • Lead continuous improvement programs to enhance skills related to record review and food safety practices.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

You have:

  • 2 plus years in a Quality Role
  • Experience within packaging/food products industry.
  • Prior HACCP experience.
  • Proficient in computer knowledge.
  • Ability to stand, climb and lift up to 50lbs boxes. Work in a multi climate environment.

Compensation: 

Pay Range:$48,000-$64,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
